‘Mad Father’ by Clint Bradshaw

In northern Germany, where the 11-year-old girl, Aya Drevs, lives together with her parents, Alfred and Monika Drevs, and their maid Maria. Aya is a shy girl who never goes outside, because of which she appears even younger than she actually is. Her mother is incredibly ill, while her father is performing secret research in his laboratory in the house’s basement, with Maria for assistance. Neither Aya nor Monika knows what he is actually doing, though both are curious to find out. It was a seemingly ordinary family, until Monika passed away. One year after, on her death’s anniversary, Aya awakens at midnight to find herself sourrounded by test subjects that flew from the laboratory. Fleeing back into her room, Aya is encountered by mysterious salesman Ogre, offering her the task to solve puzzles to break into her father’s laboratory and uncover his mystery.
