‘You Lost The Game’ by Dave Dyer

A young ex-con turned vending-and-game machine repairman discovers a body stuffed inside a broken machine at a boardwalk arcade over the Fourth-of-July holiday. The finding soon goes viral, thanks to the dozens of people who witness it – and he soon finds himself as much the subject of public speculation as the mystery victim. With the help of a sympathetic forensic investigator and a police trainee, he begins his own investigation, which leads him into the world of extreme competitive gaming.
