A fresh start doesn’t come by a change in the calendar, it comes as you deal with the beliefs that hold you in the past. My life wasn’t truly mine until I knew that it was mine. I now make my own decisions. I adapt to circumstances when necessary, yet I’m working out my own path and defining my own purpose.
Layers of Me inspires, empowers, educates & supports the many survivors of sexual abuse. This is the shared story of feelings, victories, defeats, insights & hopes along the way to embracing a new life. Taking back my life has been a long process and I’ve had many lies to defy along the way. Now I know what it means to “be my own person” and my future is in my hands. |
