‘Ew! My Apple Has A Spot’ by C. Fulsty

A little boy goes to the store with his dad and sees apples for sale. He asks his dad to get him one, he loves the green ones. The boy notices his apple has a spot, but his dad tells him not to worry about it, not all apples are perfect. The boy sees the spot get bigger, and turn brown. The little boy doesn’t want to eat it anymore, but his dad tells him that it’s still good, he can make it into something. The spot gets even bigger and more brown. His dad tells him, it’s still good, he can make it into something else. Finally the boy says he wants to throw it out because it’s all brown, it’s not good. His dad once again says it’s still good, let’s make it into something delicious right now. They make it into some delicious food and eat it all up. The son asks to get another green apple to watch it change again.
