Greetings once again. The summer season moves steadily onward into a week of national celebrations (July 1st in Canada and July 4th in the USA). I hope you’ll all have a good time and pause to celebrate in your own way for the freedoms we all enjoy.
Speaking of freedoms, author Aleksander Veljic wrote about how those were violated in his book Genocide Revealed. See Kathy Reinhart’s interview about his writing process and how important are facts and passion to this important historical work. More from him in a future blog.
SOOP is proud to see that it takes over 100 votes to break into the Top 20. Votes are a great indicator of the author-driven success at sharing your book idea voting page with your world. Without numbers to attach to your efforts, there’s no way to “measure what you manage”. So, while you creatively craft a concept, you also get to learn ways to measure your results at promoting that concept. SOOP is here to help “count the steps up the mountain” and get you to the top!
The Top 20 most popular book ideas as of June 27, 2015 follow (including two tie-places at 13th and 18th to make our list even longer):
We see the gap is closing between HipHughes Teacher Tips and The Rod of Iron — only 4 votes separate them. Will YOUR vote make the difference in changing the lineup?
